Ilkeston - Patterns In The Park
w/e 25 November 2018
All of this week's pictures were
taken with a Kodak DX6490
So what do you do on grey and overcast November days
when it never really gets light? Well I set the camera to black
and white mode to be more in tune with the weather conditions
and took a closer look at some familiar objects in Victoria Park
to reveal some interesting patterns and shapes such as .....

.... Detail on the gates at the entrance to the Park.
|

The symmetrical lines of the pergola.
|

Triangles in the bandstand ceiling.
|

An arc of seats around the bandstand.
|

A date marker in the ornate ironwork on a bench overlooking the
central formal beds.
|

Another date and the fencing around the raised display bed.
|

The rest of the images were all taken in the play area where
the circular tube and vertical lines of the fence were on the
children's slide.
|

A line of stepping posts of varying heights.
|

More geometric shapes on the swing.
|

Intricate patterns formed by the climbing frame form a symmetrical
pyramid when viewed from a distance.
