Random Thoughts from Ilkeston Cam

Powered by Calendar Labs

A friend forwarded an email to me last week with "Happy new year" in the subject box. The message contained an apology as we are now three weeks into 2012 but said that it was better late than never. Actually although the link in the email refers to the western new year, it was just in time for the Chinese New Year which will be celebrated tomorrow (January 23rd). In fact celebrations in Erewash took place on Saturday with an Arts Workshop and Lantern Parade in Ilkeston and a Dragon Dance in Long Eaton (left).

For a closer look at the dragon's head, try this week's featured jigsaw.
